Goya celebrates Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu’s birthday
June 11, 2013
For the acknowledged “Primetime Princess” of Philippine telenovelas, actress and host Kim Chiu, her life would not be complete without her daily dose of chocolates. Her love for this delectable concoction is as splendid and as legendary as her love for her fans that wholeheartedly supported her throughout her illustrious career.
And this love for chocolates, of course, did not escape Delfi, makers of the popular Goya chocolate products, who thought of celebrating the 23rdbirthday of its famous brand ambassador in the most memorable way—and also to thank her legions of fans for supporting their idol through thick and thin.
One such way is the “Goya Chocoholics” Facebook fan page promo called “Kim’s Puzzle of Surprises.” This exciting “online” treat saw 10 lucky Kim Chiu fans winning a one-year supply of those tasty and scrumptious Goya Chocolates. In choosing the winners, puzzle pieces were given out one by one at the Goya Chocoholics Facebook page. An additional 10 “Likes” for the page must be generated before another piece was given. Before the final piece was provided, participants were asked a question that should be answered correctly in order to win the prizes.
Aside from the loads of Goya chocolates, fans also won free passes to Kim Chiu’s Fans Day, a blockbuster celebration where Kim’s many fan clubs converged at the Area 05 Super Club in Quezon City. Two of the “Kim’s Puzzle of Surprises” promo winners—Rizza dela Cruz and Delia Salva—cannot hide their excitement as they received their free passes, definitely not passing up on the opportunity to receive their prizes from and rub elbows and pose for photos with Kim Chiu herself.
And Kim Chiu was also elated at the gesture of Delfi who came up with a special birthday cake just for her, a cake made of Goya Chocolates with a unique bag design and comes in pink, Kim’s favorite color. The special cake was on display at the Fans Day and was earlier presented to Kim during her birthday celebration at popular Sunday noontime show “ASAP” by no less than Delfi General Manager Mr. Josenilo Chincuanco.
Kim Chiu was no doubt overwhelmed by the unwavering support of her Delfi family and her hordes of loyal fans. She thanked them for taking time in joining her for her birthday, and promised an even bigger event next year, of course with the help of her friends from Delfi.
