RCBC rolls out Cash Express, PH’s first neighborhood mobile ATM

Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC), one of the largest universal banks in the Philippines, introduced the country’s first neighborhood ATM that enables the bank’s customers to do various regular banking transactions even through your friendly sari-sari stores, giving more Filipinos flexibility and accessibility when it comes to managing their finances.
Cash Express, the latest service from RCBC, is a revolutionary facility that gives customers the option to do bank transactions they would normally do over an ATM, such as cash withdrawals, bills payments, fund transfers, RCBC MyWallet reloading, mobile phone reloading and balance inquiries.
“This new facility will allow RCBC customers to do transactions at partner merchants that are closer, and more convenient to them. This is beneficial for our customers who live in far flung areas. They won’t have to travel all the way to our branches, but instead do their transactions at the accredited centers and merchants right in their own communities,” said RCBC Head for Operations and Digital Banking, Margarita Lopez.
RCBC is the first ever bank to offer an innovative product that provides all the functions of an ATM in a mobile POS device. With RCBC Cash Express, customers can do a wide array of banking services, not just withdrawals, making it possible for them to use other utilities and providers, to make their lives better.
Cash Express, Lopez said, is a result of RCBC’s continuous effort to make banking easier and accessible to more Filipinos.
“We believe that all Filipinos deserve easy access to banking services no matter where they are in the country,” she said.
Under the planned service roll out, RCBC will offer cash express sales kits for free to prospective merchants in order to reach as many potential partners as possible.
Each Cash Express sales kit will contain a smart phone with sim, pin pad, thermal printer and marketing collaterals. RCBC will also provide partner merchants the necessary training and assistance in order to efficiently facilitate each transaction. Partner merchants will also have 24/7 access to customer support service.
Cash Express is just one of the myriad offerings of RCBC that aims to uplift the lives of more Filipinos.
