Sound lovers across Metro experience Philips headphones in mobile booth

The Philips Pop-up Experience, a mobile headphones booth, was seen at various locations in Metro Manila in the past month and a half, attracting music and sound lovers alike to try out and experience Philips headphones in different lifestyle environments.

According to Franco Flameno, Business Development Manager for Lifestyle Entertainment, Philips Consumer Lifestyle Philippines, “Philips aimed to bring an exciting listening experience to their consumers and allow them to find the right pair of headphones that suits their needs.” The Pop-up booth was divided into different sections representing different lifestyles, from fitness enthusiasts and movie fanatics to gamers and fashionistas.

The Philips Pop-up Experience saw a good turnout of people in the different locations, as people eagerly jumped at the chance to participate in some contests and win instant prizes.

Likewise, lucky fans of the Philips Pop-up Experience’s Facebook fan page, Sound Lovers, also had the chance to win prizes by following a series of clues and guessing upcoming locations of the booth.

With the successful run of the Philips Pop-up Experience, Philips was able to cater to the varying headphone needs of discerning sound lovers from different walks of life—making sure that they get the right headphones for their lifestyle.

The booth went directly to its music fans when it had its soft launch at The Fort Strip, Taguig during Popfest 2012 last June 2.

Shortly after the soft launch was the official launch of the Philips Pop-up Experience at B-side, Makati for Irie Sunday last June 10.

Following the launch, the booth appeared at malls from North to South of Manila, starting at Trinoma last June 15 where people with different lifestyles enjoyed listening to their favorite songs either while jogging or while playing some games.

After Trinoma, the Philips Pop-up Experience made an appearance at Market! Market! last June 29. Everyone who saw the booth happily participated in contests and immersed themselves in their own worlds as they put on the headphones.

Finally, on July 13, the Philips Pop-up Experience checked in at its last location, Alabang Town Center, where Philips earphones were given away to the booth’s visitors.
