The last tropical depressions and monsoon rains that hit the Philippines left many homes and families in distress. These series of unfortunate events are definitely challenging. As we usher in the season of giving, two industry players unite to share their blessings in the pursuit of shedding a spark of hope to the disaster stricken members of the HELP Foundation and Gawad Kalinga.
A week ago, Esquire Financing Inc.’s CEO Rajan Uttamchandani and Mirage International Corp.’s Marketing Manager Roshan Mirani initiated a feeding program and distributed over 30,000 relief bags containing “Indomie” Indonesia’s leading Noodle Brand! The food packs were given to the students of the Gawad Kalinga Foundation and to affected members of Esquire’s HELP Foundation.
The partnership between the two emissaries of goodwill, Esquire Financing Inc. and Mirage International Corp., ignited fresh inspiration to do more as defined by the emotional reward that they felt when the “Gawad Kalinga” compound was filled with the glee of young innocent smiles expressed by the recipients of this generous gesture from the two companies. It was a success indeed!
Esquire Financing Inc. has always been committed in supporting lead out programs of Gawad Kalinga, an organization of volunteers seeking to build and empower communities to eradicate poverty in the country. Last year, through the efforts of Gawad Kalinga Child & Youth Development Program Volunteer Mr. Arnold McKenzie and Esquire Financing’s VP for Corporate Development Ravi Uttamchandani together with the HELP Foundation; Gawad Kalinga was able to support scholarship programs for over a hundred elementary and high school students.
With more generosity and support coming in from friends and volunteers, Esquire Financing Inc. is looking forward to launch extension programs for the Gawad Kalinga-Pinagsama project. This time the program will advocate computer literacy and continued efforts to provide decent meals to the tables of the striving underprivileged Filipino community.
