And for the past few months, I’ve been blessed with a lot of opportunities coming along my way. From winning a lot of online contests and I’m honored to be one of the top 10 influential bloggers for this year. Thank you Ms. J for recognizing my advocacy as a blogger. Enjoyed attending webinars and bootcamps, which I learned a lot every time I have a chance to join this kind of activities. Yet, I’m sadden with all the controversies involved the blogging community. There are times that I want to speak out, but the thing is….alam nyo ang ginagawa nyo! Hindi na kayo bata para punahin ng ibang tao. I will defend my friends who are not involved in such allegations against them and I will not tolerate such nasty actions by people who want to be famous. I am shocked whenever I heard a lot of horror stories about bloggers gone wild. Things got worst when I read articles about bloggers who attending events gatecrashing and lootbagging. I have my own life. Working at home for 18 hours a day as a blogger, social media manager, and a researcher, it’s a very stressful job yet I’m enjoying every minute of it. Last November, my name was dragged in an issue which involved a fellow blogger. I was devastated when I heard it to other people which led me into depression. I’m thankful that a lot of people helped me to enlighten me and focus on my job. And they always said: “Melanie, kailangan ka namin”. Thank you for the trust you gave me throughout the year. I dunno why I am misunderstood by other people and spreading lies about me. Though I’m not visible in attending events, I rather to focus on my daily tasks than mingle with people (who I knew) backstabbing me online and offline. For those people who hurt me emotionally, you’re forgiven. But the damage has done. Hindi ko alam kung paano ko maibabalik ang isang pagkakaibigan at ang tiwala na nasira dahil lang sa mga issues. I will welcome the year 2013 with a bang! Will start new social media projects and blogs starting January. Happy Holidays everyone!
