Two weeks ago, DigitalFilipino in partnership with U.P. College of Law gathered social media marketers, bloggers and entrepreneurs in the country for iBlog 9: The Philippine Blogging Summit. It was held last May 31 and June 1 at Malcolm Hall, U.P. Diliman.

What is iBlog?

iBlog is an annual event where bloggers, marketers and enterpreneurs gather to learn more about blogging and digital marketing.

During the first day of the summit, I watched the live streaming of iBlog 9. And during that time, I’m not feeling well. They tackled advance topics on blogging such as how to use content marketing for business to how to be a digital influencer.

And for the second day, it all about the world of blogosphere! Topics discussed during the day such as how to avoid redundancy, how bloggers must do in quoting a source for their blog, how to be a video blogger, working as a homebased blogger and legal issues related to blogging.

14 Key Insights from the iBlog9: The Philippine Blogging Summit from Jonha Revesencio

I am fortunate to be one of the speakers in the said blogging summit. I gained a lot of new friends and got connected with fellow social media marketers and bloggers.

It was a humbling experience and I learned a lot during iBlog9.

Thank you Ms. J (Janette Toral) and the people behind iBlog 9 for giving me the opportunity to share my experiences as a blogger.
See you all next year at iBlog 10!
