Last February 28, Jolly University launched its cook-off showdown at the Far Eastern University. As they showcased its culinary creations from the aspiring chefs in the Metro.
A lot of cooking enthusiasts joined the said competition. According to the Product Manager of Jolly, Marilou Acuňa said that Fly Ace Corporation is honored to be the sponsors for the said event.
All of the contestants fired up their energy and passion to cook up their best delectable dishes. The wide array of Fly Ace products are being used for the sadi cook-off. Aside from Jolly, Fly Ace is also behind other brands such as Goodlife, Dona Elena, Jolly Fresh, Jolly Cow, Jolly Spreads, Welchs, Franzia and Concha Y Toro wines.
The participants are composed of 5 teams (3 members each). The amateur competition had three categories – appetizer, main dish and dessert.
Chef DJ Santos did a cooking demo and used Jolly cooking oil, canned goods, Dona Elena Red and White Wines. The audience can’t wait to taste Chef Santos’ Mushroom and Beef Stroganoff, Young Corn and Mushroom Salpicado and Fruity Blini.
Most of the dishes that were presented during the cooking showdown had a distinctive international influences and absolutely yummy.
Meanwhile, the 5th group won the Cook-Off. And finalist qualifies for the competition which will be held on March 8.
