Twenty candidates of Century Tuna Superbods Challenge celebrated their Spa Day at the Zen Institute in Quezon City as part of their pre-pageant activities. The male and female delegates underwent pampering services of their choice. Some went for diamond peels, others for facials, a few opted for body massages, while the rest went for body scrubs.

“As sponsor to this year’s search, the Zen Institute set aside an afternoon of pampering and relaxation for the contestants. Being beautiful is the outcome of a healthy lifestyle and that shows on one’s skin,” apprized Liz Benavidez, sales manager of Zen Institute QC.

The Zen Institute is spearheaded by Dra. Mary Jane “MJ” Torres. Dra. MJ is part of the teaching group based in Thailand conducting workshops and trainings on aesthetic medicine for Asian Doctors.  She had her training on Botox in Istanbul, Turkey and lipotherapy training in  Athens, Greece.  Dra. MJ is also a member of the International Society of Mesotherapy, the French Society of Mesotherapy, and the Italian Society of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery. In the Philippines, she pioneered the latest technology in body sculpting and specializes in Lipotherapy, Non-Surgical Facial Contouring and Body Sculpting.

The Zen Institute envisions the pursuit of true beauty as a journey rather than a destination. It does away with the pressures that necessitate the use of invasive and potentially traumatic shortcuts. Through this careful, yet solidly paved path, it ensures longer-lasting beauty that has been perfected from within.
