Share life and join the Sangobion’s Be A Lifesaver campaign

This Yuletide season means sharing! As we ended the year with a bang, have you ever donated blood?
Recently, leading pharmaceutical company Merck Inc. partnered with the Philippine Red Cross for Sangobion’s Be A Lifesaver campaign. The launch of the said campaign was held last December 5, at SM City Fairview Activity Center. It was attended by officials from Merck, Phil. Red Cross, members of media and bloggers.
There’s a lot of volunteers who participated in this cause. Did you know that 1 out of 7 Filipinos who enter the hospital are in need of blood? That’s about 2,000 to 2,500 units of blood needed daily.
The Philippine Red Cross has been supporting different hospitals which provides 25-30% of the country’s needs. The Be a Lifesaver project is the last phase of Sangobion’s Go Love Life campaign. It aims to encourage women to take care of one’s self, to change their lifestyle, and enjoy the life they love.
The event was highlighted the launch of the campaign, which was hosted by lifestyle blogger Patty Laurel-Filart. Meanwhile, Kelly Misa-Fernandez, Sangobion brand ambassador, model and also a lifestyle blogger shared her experience taking the said medicine. Singer-actress Karylle take the centerstage and sang her latest song from her album.
In case you didn’t know, Sangobion is an iron booster which contains vitamins, minerals, and ferrous sulfate. Actually, being anemic…it helps me to keep myself on-the-go despite of my busy schedule at work.
