Globe Telecom recently partnered with Asia’s video-on-demand service HOOQ which enabled Globe subscribers to enjoy unlimited online streaming access and also with offline viewing option to a lot of Hollywood and Filipino movie and television content, via any smartphones, tablets, and computers.
In case you didn’t know, HOOQ is a start-up joint venture between SingTel, Sony Pictures Television, and Warner Bros. Entertainment. According to the former Globe Telecom Chief Operating Advisor, and currently the CEO of HOOQ, Peter Bithos on this remarkable tie-up with Globe, “Our partnership with Globe Telecom, the leader in digital partnerships in the Philippines, helps us bring Philippine customers a premium video serviec and new form of entertainment that combines the best of Hollywood, Asian, and Philippine video content across all devices.”
During the 5th Wonderful World with Globe event that was held last night at The Eye at Green Sun Hotel, President and CEO Ernest Cu welcomed the members of the press, bloggers and distinguish guests as he walked through the achievements that the telecom company made last year. “We are now the leader in delivering digital lifestyle in the Philippines.”, Cu said.
Meanwhile, Globe Telecom’s Senior Adviser for Consumer Business Group Dan Horan shares how Filipinos love to be entertained in so many ways.
I know a lot of you are excited to try out this service. HOOQ service will be available soon to Postpaid subscribers for only P 199 per month to access a great range of fantastic movies. And it will also offered to Globe’s GoSURF and Tattoo broadband users.
