Last night, the country’s number 1 mobile brand, Globe Telecom unveiled their partnership with Google Philippines to bring the Chromecast in the country during the Wonderful World of Globe 7.
The momentous event was held at SMX Convention Center, SM Aura Premier, Taguig City. It was attended by members of media, bloggers, distinguished guest and officials from Globe and Google Philippines.

In case you didn’t know, Chromecast is a thumb-size media streaming device that plugs into the High-Definition Multimedia Interface or HDMI port of one’s television set at home. One of the greatest thing about this sleek device is that you can cast it thru your smartphone, tablet, or laptop and watch your favorite movies or TV series.

Meanwhile, Chromecast is compatible with any Android devices, tablets, iPhones, iPads, Macs, Windows laptops or Chromebooks.
I’ve been a HOOQ subscriber for several months already. And I can enjoy using Chromecast by using other movie apps such as Viki, Dailymotion, Flixter, CrunchyRoll, SkyOnline and more. Other exciting apps that you can use are NBA app, Red Bull TV, Just Dance Now, YouTube, Chrome, Lyve, and DayFrame. It’s great to have a #NewConnectedLife with Globe!

Globe is set to offer a Home Broadband Plan 1299 with free Chromecast and access to HOOQ, Spotify and NBA League Pass.
