As a digital native, an essential for having a wired lifestyle and always on-the-go schedule at work and for our start-up company. I always see to it that I brought my laptop and spend time in a coffee shop or co-working space while waiting for a meeting or catching up with friends.

After I dedicated my time using a second-hand netbook for more than 3 years, I decided on which laptop should I buy as a Christmas gift to myself. Being a community manager, blogger, managing director, researcher, and copywriter, I need a laptop that suit my lifestyle.

Working using ASUS X453M

I love ASUS products ever since we got a ASUS Eee PC several years ago and currently an ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser user. Last January, I was rooting for ASUS X453SA, but when I contacted Villman Computers thru their SM Fairview branch, they told me that it was out-of-stock. Too bad, I really like their Hot Pink one. My brother suggested me to check out ASUS X453M which almost has a similar features with X453SA. I called up Villman SM Fairview branch, and placed an order a week before picking up the laptop.

Almost ready to bring you home, baby!

It was love at first sight when I opened my sleek pink laptop. To my excitement, I went straight to work online and transferred my existing files from my other laptop.

Some of my blogger friends wondering why I love ASUS X453M. Here are five things I love this hot pink lappy of mine:

1. I can do things that I can’t do on my netbook. Known for doing multitasking, I can open at least 5 tabs or more on Chrome, sending messages on Viber, editing documents, and watching videos all at the same time.

Work, work, work on a weekend. I just love the way ASUS X453M doing my online stuff in a snap.

2. Sleek design that makes me buy right away. When I ordered it via phone, I asked the salesperson if I can reserve it and there’s any color. She told me that they can order from other Villman branch and deliver it to their branch. That time, only Hot Pink is available in their store.

3. I’ve used a small laptop or netbook for more than 3 years. Though it’s lighter than my old netbook, the weight of this lappy is 2 kg. Not bad at all! I had a previous laptop which was easily broke down less than a year, it’s heavier than ASUS X453M.

It’s Quad Core 3540! Cheaper than a i7 laptop.

4. It’s compatible with Windows 10 though I stayed with Windows 8.1. It’s easy to navigate. Switching from 11 inch to 14 inch, I was easily adjusted having a wide screen.

5. My lappy has a pre-installed Share Link and PC Link software which also have in my ASUS ZenFone 2 Laser. Share Link can send and receive pictures or any files from my phone to laptop and vice-versa. This file transfer tool does not require mobile network connecttion. Meanwhile, for PC Link which also have the same function with Share Link though you can transfer your files via USB cable or Wifi connection. No hassle on my part transferring a lot of photos from my mobile phone to laptop.

If you’re a blogger or working-at-home peeps, this laptop is great for you for editing documents, doing stuff online and its cheaper than other brands.
