Planning to have a new gear for the new year? Want to switch from your old mirrorless camera to a full frame camera?
Pursuing a career in music photography is not a joke. It’s been almost 6 years when I started doing it. Starting using kit lens from attending local bar gigs to international concerts, I fond of using a mirrorless camera which has a full frame function, and can help level up my career as a music photographer.
Last month, I had the chance to try on Canon EOS R6 Mark I. With RF 100-400 mm as lens, taking photos in concerts is such a breeze. The AF tracking feature which it can be able to recognize and track eyes, face, and animals.
I’d tried to use their 70-200mm lens before. And with RF 100-400mm as lens, I fell in love with it. The efficiency and durability using EOS R6 Mark I makes my work easy. Its battery life using LP-E6NH can take for at least 3 hours and more.
The sharpness of photos using EOS R6 even if the subject is low light is still good quality. Also, it is the lightest mirrorless camera with approximately 680g.
If you’re taking videos, I got mesmerized with the result of its 4K capability. The clarity of the subject and its color when you zoomed in, every detail of it and its sharpness of the video….you will never regret it having this amazing mirrorless camera from Canon.
@manilaconcertjunkies Say what, #ATIN? Powerful performance by @officialsb19. Everyone at #hitcmanila was blown away by their set. #sb19 #headinthecloudsmanila ♬ original sound – Manila Concert Junkies
Meanwhile, with its 20.1 megapixels solutions and up-to 8 image stabilisation, the low-light performance and ultra-sharp long exposure which doesn’t need for me to use a tripod. Also you will never go wrong with this camera, it has 2 slots for your SD card and water and dust resistance.
If you’re an aspiring music photographer, try to start using a kit lens first and an entry level mirrorless camera.
Does Canon EOS R6 best for music photography? Yes, it’s worth it to have this kind of mirrorless camera for those who want to invest fully on photography. It also best for professional photographers who wanted a lightweight gear for coverages.
If you’re planning to invest in a mirrorless camera, you can check it out at all authorised Canon Philippines dealers nationwide.
