It’s been a while when I tried a lot of exfoliate cleanser. And having a sensitive skin, I’m scared that it will affect my face. Then, a friend of mine recommended me to use Proactiv Renewing Cleanser.
The said cleanser is an oil free, soap free medicated formula which contains advanced micro crystal benzoyl peroxide in combination with mild cleanser that lightly washes the skin.
There are tiny beads gently exfoliate dead cells and impurities so they can’t clog pores. And one of the factor that benzoyl peroxide penetrates the pores fast while being gentle to the skin. It attacks, kill acne-causing bacteria and reduce the number of acne pimples.
When I tried it out for few days, it makes my skin smoother, and feels so good while using it with a cotton rubbing surrounding my dry skin. It really helps to remove dead skin cells and impurities which can clog the pore.
In case you didn’t know, Benzoyl Peroxide is the key anti bacterial agent to fight acne. The 2.5% concentration is just effective as 10% solutions in controlling the majority of acne cases and much gentler to your skin. The low concentration of this which gives the acne-fighting benefit of even higher concentrations. Voila! There’s no side effects on my end.
Meanwhile, Sodium Hyaluronate also known as mucopolysaccharides which act as humectant to draw moisture to skin. Mucopolysaccharides are gel like substances surrounding the collagen and elastin in the dermis layer of the skin. Polyethylene These small round beads have no sharp edges that can tear and scratch the skin while they gently remove old, dead cells. Then, Anthemis Nobilis Flower Extract is a botanical extract known for its soothing properties.
The advanced microcrystal benzoyl peroxide in the Proactiv® 3-Step System kill acne-causing bacteria while the glycolic acid and other exfoliants reduce excess oils and dead skin cells.
How to use Proactiv Renewing Cleanser:
- Use it twice a day (morning and night)
- Apply a small amount to damp skin and gently massage for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
- Path dry. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day
- If your planning to go out, use a sunscreen.
There are some people does harsh scrubbing when using exfoilants which it does not unclog your pores. That’s why it’s better to rub it gently.
